Q10.: Find the remainder when t-2t+t+1 is divided by t-1.​

If you are writing t^2 in the first term, them the answer forms as follow-
p(t)=t^2-2t+t-1
Using Remainder Theorem, t-1=0, t=1
p(1)=(1)^2-2(1)+(1)-1
Remainder= -1
Long Division method can be used to find the same.

Similarly if You have t-2t+t-1,
All ‘t’s cancel out and thus remainder comes to be be -1.
