Given :-

  • A triangle having sides 45 cm, 49 cm and 96 cm.

To Find :-

  • The Semi Perimeter of traingle = ?

Answer :-

  • The Semi Perimeter of traingle = 95 cm

Explaination :-

As we know that, Semi Perimeter of ∆ is given by formula :

  • Semi Perimeter = a + b + c ÷ 2

Where, the sides of ∆ is :

◪ a = 45 cm

◪ b = 49 cm

◪ c = 96 cm

Now, subsitute the value of a, b, c in above given formula :

→ Semi Perimeter = 45 + 49 + 96 ÷ 2

→ Semi Perimeter = 190 ÷ 2

Semi Perimeter = 95 cm

Hence,Semi Perimeter of traingle is 95 cm.

Extra Shots :-

  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h
  • T.S.A of cylinder = 2πrh + 2πr²
  • Volume of cone = ⅓ πr²h
  • C.S.A of cone = πrl
  • T.S.A of cone = πrl + πr²
  • Volume of cuboid = l × b × h
  • C.S.A of cuboid = 2(l + b)h
  • T.S.A of cuboid = 2(lb + bh + lh)
  • C.S.A of cube = 4a²
  • T.S.A of cube = 6a²
  • Volume of cube = a³
  • Volume of sphere = 4/3πr³
  • Surface area of sphere = 4πr²
  • Volume of hemisphere = ⅔ πr³
  • C.S.A of hemisphere = 2πr²
  • T.S.A of hemisphere = 3πr²

Here we go !

As we know ,

Perimeter of Triangle = Sum of all the sides

Perimeter of Triangle = ( a + b + c )

Now,

What's the semi perimeter is ?

Its just the half of perimeter

So ,

Semi perimeter of a triangle = a + b + c ÷ 2

As according to given ,

Sides of triangle are 45cm ,49cm and 96cm respectively .

Applying above formula

↠ Semi Perimeter = ( 45 + 49 + 96 ÷ 2 )

= 190 ÷ 2

= 95 cm
