Answer:

As x=3/7 & y=5/4.

Proof for x+y=x+y

Simply you can substitute the values of x&y and can prove it.

LHS=x+y

=3/7 +5/4

=47/28

RHS=x+y

=3/7+5/4

=47/28

Since RHS & LHS are equal hence proved.

2. You can also prove same for x x y=x x y by substituting values of x & y respectively.
