When a disease causing microbe enters our body. Our body produces antibodies to fight the invader. The body also remembers how to fight the microbe if enters again. So when the dead or weakened microbes are introduced in our body. Our body makes suitable antibodies. The antibodies remain in our body, and we are protected.
