Q10.The radii of two circles are 19cm and 9cm respectively.Find the radius of a circle of a circle which has circumference equal to sum of their circumferences.​

Answer:

radius of first circle=19cm

radius of second circle=9cm

radius of third circle be r

circumference of a first circle =2πr=2π[19]=38π

circumference of second circle=2πr=9×2=18π

circumference of third circle=2πr

circumference of 3rd circle=circumference of first circle + circumference of second circle

2πr=38π+18π=56π

r=56π/2π

=28

therefore the radius of the circle which has circumference equal to the sum of the circumference of given two circle is 28
