Let,

a is 23

b is 35

a-(-b) = a+b

23-(-35)

23+35

58

we know that,

negative into negative is positive

We need to prove that a-(-b)=a+b

a=23
b=35

LHS = 23-(-35)
= 23+35
= 58

RHS = 23+35
=58

Therefore a-(-b)=a+b (RHS = LHS)
