Amoeba is unicellular living organism.

Amoeba reproduces themselves by a process called Binary Fission.

This means that 1 amoeba can split in half and make 2 identical amoebas.

This is the asexual mode of reproduction.

In binary fission, 1 parent cell is divided into 2 daughter cells.

Binary Fission occurs when environmental conditions are favorable i. e., when there is plenty of food , water & suitable temperature.

Binary Fission

  • Binary fission is used by amoebae to reproduce.
  • Two identical people are created from a single-parent cell in this method.
  • Asexual reproduction occurs when a parent cell divides into two identical daughter cells.
  • The nucleus divides into two daughter nuclei as the cell elongates.
  • Following this, a transverse wall forms in the parent cell's center, resulting in the parent cell's division into two daughter cells, which then separate and exist independently.
