Q11 A field in the form of a parallelogram has one diaognal of 42m long and the perendicular distance of the diagonal from either of the outlying vertices is 10m find the area of the field ?

area of parallelogram = area of 2 triangle

area = 420 sq m

 = 2( \frac{1}{2}  \times 42 \times 10) \\  = 42 \times 10 \\  = 420 \:  {m}^{2}
