It not possible to distinguish the solute or solvent particles from the suspension because solute and solvent particles are too small.

A solution can be defined as a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances. It present in different states.

Basically, solution consists of two parts are large portion of the solution is called as a solute and a small portion of the solution is called as solvent.

For example, if we dissolved salt in a water, salt is solvent and water is solute.

The particles of the solute and the solvent are very small. Even under a microscope, they cannot be distinguished."
