So I’m going to do this the long way since days and men don’t exactly make a Convenient math problem so let’s assume variables aren’t a factor and the men are all just as good and get rid of work to men variable first we must assume what would take one man one day would take 2 men a half day so if twelve men can do it in 8 days then 24 men would do it in 4 days and so halfway between 4 and 8 is 6 and halfway between 24 and twelve is 18 so the final answer is 18

Answer:

16 days

Step-by-step explanation:

From the first example, we get that the piece of work is 12 men * 8 days = 96 man days.

So, if the same 96 man days is to be done in 6 days, we get the equation:

X men * 6 days = 96 man days

X men = 96 man days / 6 days = 16 men
