HERE WE GO..

There are many examples of this scenario, such as, all objects at rest on the earth's surface; freefall, at an objects terminal velocity, where the weight is balanced by the resultant force of air resistance; a vehicle, moving at constant velocity, where the resultant forward force, generated by the engine, is balanced ...

Answer:

2 people are pushing a box in opposite directions.

When they are pushing, a certain amount of force is being applied. Say both of them are applying a same on the box.

Force being applied = 50 N {from each person}

                                         >>>          ║       <<<<

Since it is opposite to each other the box won't move.

In such cases when the object won't move, the force applied is a balanced force.
