of rows and columns for P.T. display If the number of rows is equal to the
number of columns and 54 student could not be accommodated in this
arrangement, Find the number of rows.

So, Number of students arranged = 2000 - 64

                                                       = 1936

⇒ No. of rows × No. f columns = 1936

⇒ x² = 1936

⇒ x = 44

Hence, Number of rows in which the students are arranged = 44
