Explanation:

(a) Antibiotics, also known as antibacterials, are medications that destroy or slow down the growth of bacteria. They include a range of powerful drugs and are used to treat diseases caused by bacteria. Antibiotics cannot treat viral infections, such as cold, flu, and most coughs.

(b) Pasteurisation is the process of heating up milk to a high temperature for a short time and then cooling it down again quickly. The standard temperature used for the process is 71.7°C and the length of time it's kept at that temperature for has to be at least 15 seconds and no longer than 25 seconds.

(c) A communicable disease is one that is spread from one person to another through a variety of ways that include: contact with blood and bodily fluids; breathing in an airborne virus; or by being bitten by an insect.
