(a) Soham and Tanmey are suffering from both acute and chronic disease. This is because Tuberculosis is both Acute and Chronic disease and Cold and Cough is Chronic Disease.

(b)

Acute Diseases :-

1. Acute disease are diseases which remain for short period of time and does not cause any harm to our body.

2. acute diseases can be treated easily.

3. eg. Cough, Cold

Chronic Disease :-

1. The diseases which stays for a long time and have a drastic effect on our body is called chronic disease.

2. They cannot be treated easily.

3. Eg: Cancer, AIDS

(c) May be no. Because most of the people will be not vaccinated for tuberculosis.

(d) Tanmay was prescribed antibiotics by the Doctor because he was infected by Tuberculosis which exists in some people and may not exist in some people. Soham has got cold and cough. it normal for all the people because cold and cough doesn't exist for more thank a month. The doctor may give him tablets to cure it fast.
