Answer:

Given,

length of a rectangle 3+x units

let breadth of the rectangle be x unit

But, the perimeter of the rectangle is 22 units

Now,

we have to find the length and breadth of the rectangle

By using formula: 2 ( l + b) = perimeter

According to the question

2 (3+x +x ) = 22 units

3+2x =11 units

2x= 8 units

x= 4 units

Hence,

length of the rectangle = 3+4 units

= 7 unit

breadth of the rectangle = 4 units
