An odometer measures the distance travelled by any automobile.
Out of the two,i.e. the car and the scooter, the car(b) is moving faster.
This can be explained as follows:
In order to compare the speed of both the vehicles and determine which one is moving faster, the speed of both the vehicles should be represented by the same unit.
Speed of scooter = 300 m/min
Converting this to km/hr,
Distance travelled by the scooter in 1 min= 300 m
Therefore, distance travelled by the scooter in 60min( or 1 hr ) = 18000m = 18 km
Speed of the car= 36 km/hr
Since the car travels a greater distance in 1 hr , we can say that it is moving faster.
