Since there are 6 pills altogether and we exactly don't know which one is the defective pill so we should try 6 times only. We might get the correct 2 pills after weighing 2 times only but we can even get after weighing 4 times also.

So the answer might not be absolutely correct .But in my opinion the answer should be 4.
