Q14. Simplify and find the value when:
x=3, y=-1, z = 2
(i) 7x+4+3x-
(ii) 2x + 3y + 2 + 2x-y-z
(iii) 3x + 2y + x + y
(iv) x+y +3 + 3x + 2y + 5 + 4z​

Answer:

(I) 7×3+4+3×3

=21+4+9

=34

(ii) 2×3+3×(-1)+2+2(3)-(-1)-2

=6-3+2+6-1

=10

(iii) 3(3)+2(-1)+3+(-1)

=9-2+2

=9

(iv) 3+(-1)+3+3(3)+2(-1)+5+4(2)

=2+3+9-2+5+8

=25
