Answer:

Using Heron's formula i.e.

A=

s(s−a)(s−b)(s−c)

where,

a=5 cm

b=12 cm

c=13 cm

s=

2

a+b+c

=

2

5+12+13

=15cm

A=

15(15−5)(15−12)(15−13)

A=

15×10×3×2

∴A=30 cm

2

∴A=0.003 m

Answer:

0.003 m2

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of triangle = \sqrt{s (s-a) (s-b) (s-c) , s= a+b+c /2

= 13+12+5/2

= 15cm

area = \sqrt{15 (15-13) (15-12) (15-5)

= \sqrt{15 *2*3*10

= 30cm2

Therefore area of triangle  =30cm

=0.003m

(1m2 = 10000cm2)
