We know that √(1–sin²x)=cosx so cos x=√{1–(m/n)²} = √(n²-m²)/n² = √(n²-m²)/√n²=√(n²-m²)/n
so tan x=sinx /coax. =. (m/n)/{√(n²-m²)/n} = m/√(n²-m²)
