perimeter of rectangle=100cm=2(l+b)

length=35cm

breadth=?

100cm=2(35cm+?)

100cm÷2=35cm+?

50cm=35cm+?

50cm-35cm=Breadth

15cm=Breadth

Area=length × breadth

Area=35cm×15cm

Area=525 cmsquare

Answer:

Length= 35 cm

Breadth= ?

Perimeter=2(l+b)

100 cm = 2(35 +b)

100 cm = 70 +2b cm

2b = 100-70

2b= 30

b = 30/2

breadth= 15 cm

Now: Area= length * breadth

Area= 15*35 cm

Area =  525 cm sq.

Answer:- Therefore the area of the rectangle is 525 cm and the breadth is 15 cm.
