Answer:

q16_-diffusion occurs through the process of internal respiration in between alveoli and the blood capillaries, against the concentration gradients

when oxygen gets use through cellular respiration at that time there will be decrease in oxygen in the cells,so O2 Will be transferred to the cell

q17_--When there will be

Increase in solvent concentration & decrease in solution concentration of the cell

And vice_ versa in the adjacent cell

The cell will shrink down,it's also an example of PLASMOLYSIS

Answer:

Explanation:

First thing is that diffusion takes place as there is no equilibrium at that point. Which means that there is no equal amt. of oxygen /CO2 inside the cell as well as outside the cell. So when the concentration of the oxygen is less than the concentration of oxygen outside the cell. The movement is always from higher concentration to lower concentration. Therefore, the oxygen moves from the outside of the cell to the inside of the cell to attain equilibrium.

Second thing, the conditions necessary for exosmosis is that the cell must be kept in a HYPOTONIC solution. Where the water from the inside of the cell moves to the outside of the cell. The size of the cell shrinks, as the water moves out of the cell, after exosmosis
