Q16.if the lateral surface area of a cylinder is 94.2 cm² and it's height is 5 cm, then find: (I) radius of it's base (ii) it's volume (use π=3.14)​

I) Radius of its base =>

Let radius of cylinder= r cm

Height= h= 5 ( given)

Now it's given Lateral surface area=94.2 cm²

=> 2πrh =94.2

=> 2*3.14*r*5=94.2

=>r = 94.2/2*3.14*5

=> r=3 cm

ii) It's volume

We know that,

r= 3 cm & h= 5 cm

volume of cylinder=πr²h

= 3.14*3*3*5

= 141.3cm³
