EXPLANATION.

Age of A is five more than that of B

=> Let the age of A = ( x + 5 ) years.

=> Let the age of B = x years.

5 years ago,

Present age of A = ( x + 5 ) - 5 = x years.

Present age of B = ( x - 5 ) years.

The ratio of was = 3:2.

=> x / x - 5 = 3/2

=> 2x = 3 ( x - 5 )

=> 2x = 3x - 15

=> x = 15 years.

Therefore,

Present age of A = ( x + 5 ) = ( 15 + 5 ) = 20 years.

present age of B = x = 15 years.
