Answer:

17% profit

Step-by-step explanation:

:- Given :-

  • Shopkeeper purchased 200 bulb
  • bulb purchased at rs 10 each
  • 5 bulb get fused
  • Remaining bulb were sold at rs 12 each

:- To Find:-

  • Profit or loss % of shopkeeper

:- Formula we use :-

when shopkeeper get profit then =

profit \times 100 \div cp

when shopkeeper get loss then =

loss \times 100 \div cp

:- Explanation :-

CP ( coast price) of 1 bulb = 10rs

so, CP (cost price) of 200 bulbs = 200×10

= 2000rs.

According to the given question -

5 bulbs get fused so, the number of bulbs remain safe = 195

therefore,

SP( selling price) of 1 bulb = 12rs

so, SP( selling price) of 195 bulbs = 12×195

= 2340rs

here , we found =

CP = 2000rs

SP = 2340 rs

so, we can see that SP > CP

if SP is bigger than CP then there is profit happen.

so,

Gain = SP - CP

=> 2340-2000

=> 340rs

so,

to find profit Percent ,

we use formula of Gain %

=>

gain \times 100 \div cp

=> 340 ×100÷ 2000

=> 34/2

=> 17 %

so, shopkeeper get the profit of 17%
