Answer:

(i) Speed of a train 30 km/hr = 8.33 = m/s

Distance = 25m

Time = ?

Time = Distance Speed = 25 ÷ 8.33 = 3.001 sec

(i) Speed of the train(s) = 30 km/h = 30 * 5/18 = 150/18 = 50/6 = 25/3 =

8  \frac{1}{3} m.s {}^{ - 1}

Time(t) = ? s

Distance(d) = 25m

By using the formula,

d = s × t

=> t = d/s

=> t = 25/25/3

= 25×3/25

=> t = 3 s

Therefore,it will take 3 s to cross the signal.

2. Distance(d) = 50 m

Speed(s) = 72 km/h = 72×5/18 = 4×5 = 20 m/s

Time(t)= d/s = 50/20 = 5/2 = 2.5 s

Therefore,it will take 2.5 s to cross the pole.
