By angle sun property of a triangle we get:
(X-40)+(x-20)+(1/2x-10)=180
X-40+x-20+1/2x-10=180
Adding the like terms on the LHS side
2x+1/2x-70=180
5/2x-70=180
Transposing -70 to RHS
5/2x=180+70
5/2x=250
Transposing 1/2 on the RHS
5x=250 x 2( multiplying 250 and 2)
5x= 500
Transposing 5 to RHS
X=500/5
X=100
(X-40)+(x-20)+(1/2x-10)=180
X-40+x-20+1/2x-10=180
Adding the like terms on the LHS side
2x+1/2x-70=180
5/2x-70=180
Transposing -70 to RHS
5/2x=180+70
5/2x=250
Transposing 1/2 on the RHS

5x= 500

X=500/5
X=100
