Question :- The value of 10+ √36 is ?

Solution :-

10 + √36

→ 10 + √(6*6)

→ 10 + √(6)²

using (√a)² = a Now,

→ 10 + 6

16 (Ans.)

__________

Also,

As we know that, All positive real numbers have a positive and negative real square root which are additive inverses of one another.

So,

→ (-6)² = (-6) * (-6) = 36

Than,

If we want to refer to the negative square root, then just put a minus sign in front :

→ 10 - √36

→ 10 - √(6)²

→ 10 - 6
