Q19. During this COVID-19 pandemic Tushar’s father was stuck in Meghalaya and couldn’t come and his mother became sick with fever. At this hard time mother asked Tushar to make lemonade so that they can have it and enhance their immunity. Although Tushar never went to kitchen yet he had an idea that to make a lemonade all he needed is a lemon, water , sugar and ice and he knew that all these things are required to be mixed well. Being new to the kitchen he added ice to the water first and then started dissolving sugar crystal to the cold water. Contrary to his thought he found it very difficult to dissolve sugar crystals to cold water where as he had observed his mother to dissolve sugar crystals in water very easily. He was unable to find what the problem is. (i) Why Tushar was unable to dissolve sugar in water as easily as her mother? (ii) What would Tushar infer when he happens to warm the mixture? (iii) Which solution can you say as saturated solution? (iv) How can a solution be made unsaturated by changing temperature? (v) Before adding lemon juice to the mixture Tushar added 30 g of sugar in 300 g of water. Calculate the concentration in terms of mass by mass percentage of this sugar solution.

Answer:
Because there was no liquid inside it and both solids can't be mixed together. The Tushar should first add all the ingredients and after that add ice cubes. We should boil the glass so I've become water 1:10
