Answer:

Manuscripts are the old texts and books of the early age written on soft surfaces such as palm leaves. Historians face difficulty in using manuscripts because the writing of the manuscripts were easily erased because they were written on soft surfaces and the script and terminology of today and past has also changed considerably due to which understanding of what is written becomes difficult

Answer:

Q1)     Manuscrpit-

A manuscript was, traditionally, any document that is written by hand

                                                         or

a book, document, or piece of music written by hand rather than typed or printed.

Q2) what where the difficulties faced by the historians using manuscips?

The historians face several difficulties in using manuscripts. There was no printing press in those days so scribes copied manuscripts by hand. Manuscript copying is not an easy job. As scribes copied manuscripts, they also introduced small changes—a word here, a sentence there.
