Question :- if 15 added to thrice of a whole number, it gives 93. Find the number. ?

1) 26

2)48

3) 36

4) 46

Solution :-

Let us assume that, the required number is x .

So,

Thrice of the number is = 3 times = 3 * x = 3x .

Now, we have given that, if we add 15 in thrice of x , we gets 93.

Therefore,

3x + 15 = 93

→ 3x = 93 - 15

→ 3x = 78

Dividing both sides by 3,

x = 26 .

Hence, the required Number is 26. (Option 1).
