Answer:

Ans a. The Road Not Taken' by Robert Frost is a poem narrated by a lone traveler confronted with two roads, symbolizing the journey of life and the decisions we make on that journey. It says that we must carefully take decision as there is no looking back after we have choosen one way,we have to move ahead in that way.

Ans b. Yes the title "road not taken" is appropriate for the poem because the poet was the single traveller and being a single traveller he couldn't travel both the roads. he felt "sorry" for the other road which he was not able to take. Hence the title of the poem satisfied the poem.

Ans c. Margie and Tommy had mechanical teachers. They had large black screens on which all the lessons were shown and questions were asked. These teachers were adjusted according to the age and potential of the student concerned. They had a slot in which students had to put their homework and test papers.

Ans d. Margie's school was just a room called schoolroom in her home itself right next to her bedroom. No she did not have any classmates and even in the name of teacher a mechanical teacher flashed on the screen.

Ans e. Once, Tommy's teacher was taken away for nearly a month because its history sector had blanked out completely.

Ans f. When Margie heard Tommy mention that children were taught by human teachers in the times gone by, she could not believe the truth of Tommy's statement.

Ans g. Yes, I agree that schools today are more fun than the school in the story. Studying and answering questions seems to be a boring idea without the presence of classmates. ... Children develop a better understanding about each other and their surroundings when they go to a school and interact with others.

Ans h. In his short story “The Fun They Had” Isaac Asimov depicts the school system in 2157 which is based on technical advancement. ... Another disadvantage is that there are no social relationships like at school today.

Ans i. He lost all interest in the attractions of the fair and kept crying for his parents.

Ans j . Yes, the child's behaviour was normal. The story very clearly depicts the behaviour of a young child who is attracted by everything he sees around him. ... As mentioned in the story the child is both 'repelled and fascinated' by the colourful world around him which is normal for any young child.

And k. the lost child is the main character in the story or the protagonist of the story. He is an innocent and obedient child by nature. He follows his parents instructions without any grudge. He is cheerful too and does not throw tantrums when they refuse to buy things.
