Dear Diary
Recently the tree plantation drive was organized in our school. All the junior and senior students were divided into groups. Each group was supervised by a teacher. Each group chose one spot and tilled the area and sowed the seed of a tree. Every day we watered our particular area. It was great fun to work together.
Planting trees is very advantageous. Trees help to purify the air. They take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen. They help to make the area shady and cool. They prevent soil erosion. They also help to prevent both floods and drought.

Dear diary,
Last week we went on a tour to a plantation farm. I was very excited and confused as it was very different. We all were split into groups. And I was appointed as the volunteer.
The first day we learned how to plant and the uses of natural fertilizer and chemical fertilizers. And how many years does it take for a small tree to grow as a whole tree it was fun.
The next day was when we were allowed to plant. That's when we had so much fun, but at the same time it was a very hard and a sweaty work .
The 3rd day they explained us the process of photosynthesis that is how plants take in CO2 at night and give out oxygen that is they purify air.
The 4th day was really amazing because it was a rainly day we all went outside and enjoyed a lot we played with the mud.
And the last day, it was the most saddest part of the trip. We had to go back to the city. At last they gave us small plants to plant near our houses to prevent global warming.
