Given : a rectangle PQRS such that PQ = 10.4 cm and ∠PQS= 32°

To Find : Construct a rectangle PQRS

Measure and write down the length of PS and PR.

Solution:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment PQ = 10.4 cm

Step 2 : Draw an angle of 32° at Q on PQ using protractor

Step 3 : Draw an angle of 90° at  P using protractor / set square

Step 4 : angle drawn in step 2 and 3 intersects at S

Step 5 :  Using compass width = PQ = 10.4 cm and taking S as center drawn an arc

Step 6 :  Using compass width = PS  and taking Q  as center drawn an arc intersecting arc drawn in previous step at R

Step 7 : Join QR and RS

PS =6.5

PR = 12.26
