➤ Answer :-

XY = 5.8 cm

\:

\dashrightarrow Steps :-

  • First, draw a line segment YZ of 5.5 cm.
  • Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point Y and draw a ray measuring 60°.
  • Again, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point Z and draw a ray measuring 60°.
  • Now, join both the rays drawn. If they doesn't join we should extend the rays. Name it as point X.
  • Then, measure the line XY.
  • Finally, the triangle is constructed.

\:

\dashrightarrow Instruments used :-

  • Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements and the drawn lines should be correct and straight always.
  • Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays of accurate measurements of degrees. It's also used to measure the angles given.
