➤ Answer :-
XY = 5.8 cm
Steps :-
- First, draw a line segment YZ of 5.5 cm.
- Next, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point Y and draw a ray measuring 60°.
- Again, take a protractor and keep it's mid-point on the point Z and draw a ray measuring 60°.
- Now, join both the rays drawn. If they doesn't join we should extend the rays. Name it as point X.
- Then, measure the line XY.
- Finally, the triangle is constructed.
Instruments used :-
- Ruler :- The ruler is used to draw the line segments of accurate measurements and the drawn lines should be correct and straight always.
- Protractor :- The protractor is used to draw the rays of accurate measurements of degrees. It's also used to measure the angles given.
