Golden Rules:

• As we see the above sentences are in simple past tense.
• So while converting the active form of simple past tense into passive: first form of verbs is followed by helping work which should also be in the past tense.
• While converting the passive form of simple past tense into active we will eliminate the helping verb ( was/were )
• In Active voice, the person or thing denoted by the subject is active or acts.
• In passive person or thing denoted by the subject is the sufferer of the action.
