The applications of worksheets in business are:

1. Manipulation of data: Worksheets can be used to store data but at the same time data can also be analyzed and sorted. It also provides an advantage of conditional processing where the value of one set of data depends on the other.

2. Graphical representations: Data sets can be represented in the form of bar graphs, pie charts, etc. This helps in better interpretations, comparisons and thereforeby aid the decision making process.

Example:

In a retail business, worksheets can be transformed into bar charts to see how the demand fluctuates for a particular product.

In a business, the payment details can be enlisted along with the basic pay roll, tax and other estimates.

In banks, account details along with other information of all the customers can be enlisted which also helps in sorting of data.
