From log table
log ( 80.07) = 1.9031 + 0.0004 = 1.9035
log (10) = 1.0000
=> log 8.007 = 1.9035 - 1
=> log 8.007 = 0.9035
0.002348 = 23.48/10000
log ( 0.002348) = log (23.48) - log (10000)
= log (23.48) - log (10⁴)
= log (23.48) - 4 log 10
From log table
log ( 23.48) = 1.3692 + 0.0015 = 1.3707
log (10) = 1.0000
log ( 0.002348) = 1.3707 - 4 (1)
= -2.6293
