Let your age be = 3x

then age of your son = x

After 5 years

Your age after 5 years per given = 2\frac{1}{2} (x+ 5) = \frac{5}{2}(x+5)

Your age after 5 years should be 3x + 5

So

\frac{5}{2}(x+5) = 3x+5

5(x+5) = 2(3x+5)

5x +25 = 6x + 10

15 = x

The age of you son now is 15 and your age is (3x)= 45

Mark as brainiest if it helped:D

Happy new year btw ^o^
