Q2: The length of Mercury thread in a liquid in glass thermometer is 2cm at OC° and 22cm at 100C°. What is the temperature if the length of the Mercury thread is 8cm?

22 cm = 100⁰C

17 cm = 75⁰C

12 cm = 50⁰C

7 cm = 25⁰C

2 cm = 0⁰C

As per above pattern of mercury thread and temperature, I can say that at 8cm , temperature will be 30⁰C
