Step-by-step explanation:

let u and v be the zeroes of polynomial

ax^2 + bx + c

i.e.

u+v = -5 and uv = 6

here, we know that sum of zeroes = -b/a

and

product of zeroes= c/a

so,

-b/a = -5/1

b = 5 , a = 1

and,

c/a = 6/1

c=6

here, we know the values of a,b and c

so,

quadratic polynomial is x^2 + 5x + 6
