Total number of observations = 11

a) mean =

 \frac{sum \: of \: obsrvations }{total \: number \: of \: observations}

\implies mean =

 \frac{19+25+23+20+9+15+10+24+20 + 24}{11} =  \frac{209}{11  }  = 19</p><p>

mode = the observation that has highest frequency

so here mode = 20

b)

Number of students who scored above mean marks = 5
