Hello!

I will answer your question!
—————————————-——–——–

Need to remember- A cuboid’s volume formula is length x breadth x height.

Base of a cuboid is a rectangle. So it’s area will be length x breadth.

Area will always be in square centimetres whereas volume will be in cubic centimetres

Answer:

Volume of the cuboidal container = 28400 cubic centimetres

Height of the cuboidal container = 40 centimetres

Now, we don’t know the value of length and breadth. So,

Let length be l
Let breadth be b

Volume of a cuboid = length x breadth x height

28400 = l x b x 40

28400/40 = l x b

710 = l x b

As the base of cuboid is a rectangle and it’s area formula is length x breadth,

The area of the cuboidal container’s base is 710 square centimetres.
