A) an atom is the smallest particle of an element that can take part in the chemical reaction but may or may not exist independently e.g atom of oxygen, chlorine and a few other elements are unstable independently . so they join to form a molecule which is or stable and independent in nature

B) Elements a substance that is made up only one type of atom. compound a substance that is made of more than one type of atom bounded together . Mixture a combination which have a reacted to bond together each part in the mixture retains its own properties.
