(a) When zinc metal is added to copper sulphate solution, the colour of CuSO4 solution disappears and colourless zinc sulphate solution is formed. Solid brown copper is deposited as it displaces by Zn. ... (c) Silver is a Nobel metal and does not exhibit any reaction with copper sulphate.

(b)Aluminium metal will react with dilute hydrochloric acid to produce aqueous aluminium chloride, AlCl3 , and hydrogen gas, H2 . Keep in mind that this reaction will not take place as soon as you add the piece of aluminium to the hydrochloric acid solution.

(c)When silver metal is added to copper sulphate solution, no reaction takes place because silver is less reactive than copper.
