dear friend,

both options are incorrect because,

Displacement is the shortest distance between the initial and final position of the body.  It can be zero and its magnitude is either less than or equals to the distance travelled by the object.

Answer:

The correct sentence is (a.

Explanation:

(a- Displacement cannot be zero........... This sentence is correct.

(b- The magnitude of displacement is greater than the distance travelled by the object......... this sentence is incorrect because Displacement is the shortest distance between two points and it cannot be greater than distance travelled by the object. But it can be equal to the distance when the object moves in a straight line.

I HOPE THIS MAY HELP YOU.
