Given :-

  • Surface area of cube is 150 cm²

To Find :-

  • Volume of that cube

Solution :-

~Here, we're given the surface area of a cube and we need to find the volume of that cube. Firstly we'll find the side of the cube by putting the values in the formula of surface area. After finding the side , we can easily find the volume by putting the values in it's formula.

_____________

As we know that ,

Surface area of cube = 6 × ( Side )²

Volume of cube = ( Side )³

Finding the side :-

⟶ 6 × ( Side )² = 150

⟶ ( Side )² = 150 ÷ 6

⟶ ( Side )² = 25

⟶ Side = √25

⟶ Side = 5 cm

Finding the volume :-

⟶ ( Side )³

⟶ ( 5 )³

⟶ 5 × 5 × 5

⟶ Volume = 125 cm³

_____________

Hence,

  • Volume of that cube is 125 cm³

In the question Surface area of the cube is given that is 150cm. And we have to find the volume of cube. So,Firstly we will find the side of The cube. After Getting the side of cube By using the formula of Volume of Cube (Side)³ we can easily find the volume.

Surface area of cube = 6a²

Where,

  • a = Side of cube

150 = 6 × (a)²

150/6 = (a)²

25 = (a)²

a = √25

a = 5 cm

Side of Cube is 5 cm

Volume of cube = (Side)³

5 × 5 ×5

125cm³

∴ Volume of cube is 125cm³
