Explanation:

Old share of A= 10/20

of B = 6/20

of C = 4/20

Share of D is 6/20 which he gets in ratio 4:2:2 by ABand C.

Share given by A= 4/8x6/20= 6/40

by B= 2/8x6/20 = 3/40

Share given by C will also be equal to 3/40

So sacrificing ratio: 6:3:3 or 2:1:1

Now

New share of A= 10/20-6/40= 14/40

of B= 6/20- 3/40= 9/40

of C= 4/20- 3/40= 5/40

of D= 6/20 or 12/40

So New ratio= 14:9:5:12
