Q25 If a farmer is growing leguminous plant in his field ,he does not have to add nitrogen

Leguminous plants don't require nitrogen fertilisers because their roots have bacterium like nitrobacter ,azatobacter which turn nitrogen into nitrates and the plants absorb them.This is a simbiotic relationship.The bacterium get shelter and food from the roots of the plants.
