Q3. A floor is 6 m long and 5 m wide. A square carpet of side 4 m is laid on the floor. Find the area of the floor that is not carpeted?

Area of floor= l×b

= 6×5

=30m²

Area of carpet=4×side

= 4×4

=16m²

Area of the floor that is not carpeted = 30m²-16m²=14m²
